Our staff ensures that any support the customer receives is from known and trusted people, whose allocation is managed, monitored and recorded. We enable our customers to be as independant as possible in all day-to-day tasks and actvities.
Its important to all at Oaktree that customer's are able to learn key life skills and gain experience in order to be able to be independent in their daily lives. They are able to practice and learn things such as money skills, travel training, food hygiene and health & safety sessions, where the customer's gain an Independent Life Skills Certificate.
Good Working Practices
As well as the customer's learning base skills in order to assist with their every day lives and independence. We offer training and practice in other occupational skills such as car maintenance, woodwork, gardening and countryside preservation in the local area. We also work with the local schools when customer's leave the education system to further any strengths an individual may have.
